Description
This grey whale is spy hopping in Saratoga Passage between Whidbey and Camano Islands in Washington State. Spy hopping is how a whale gets a good look at the world above by raising his eyes above the surface and treading water to hold a vertical position. It is a rare treat to see but a real treasure when you do.
