Thanks to everyone for your comments about this image and to Barbara for featuring it in her group. FYI the tulip is a "Salmon Parrot" variety that was on display at Roozengaarde Gardens in the Skagit Valley of WA state. They have a web site if you are interested in buying exotic varieties of tulip bulbs and the garden is well worth a visit when the tulips are in bloom every spring during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
