I came upon this scene in Ibiza, Spain and was drawn to the graffiti on the side of the building. Then I realized that I was looking at the scar left by a building that had been removed. The parting left a "scab" of insulation that had grown over with graffiti. You can see it in the face of the woman looking out into empty space as if she is feeling the loss and wondering what will take its place.
